Has anyone here experienced this, or was able to use this combo without trouble? I picked them after watching multiple reviews and people even saying they use this combination for eg. I also have no more mics/cables/etc to test with, this is my only audio hardware aside from my headphones.

I don't have the "boost mic" slider on the mic's audio settings, only volume. I installed the ASIO drivers, and after that I now see the device as Behringer USB, started getting less noise, but still pretty much no sound. No DAW as I want to use this for video/conference calls.īefore I was on vanilla drivers seeing the devices as USB AUDIO CODEC and I was getting lots of noise even with the midas gain halfway. I'm testing with the win10 "hear this microphone" feature, telegram/discord etc. Tapping the mic is one of the few things it picks up and even that's very quiet with both levers at max. When connecting everything to my computer, the mic produces almost no sound, until I put the Midas gain on the sound card all the way up to max, at which point I can very faintly hear my voice, drowned by a lot of noise. I recently purchased a Behringer UMC22 and a Behringer XM8500 along an XLR cable. Hello, and thanks in advance for the help!
